About the Kirkvold Reunion
The Kirkvold Reunion has been held every summer since at least the 1960s and, I understand, was started by Kermit Kirkvold. It was held in alternate years in Sioux Falls and Hendricks, Minnesota, on the last Sunday in July. Partly because that seemed to be the hottest day of the year, it was changed to the last Sunday in June about five years ago. In some years, that has now become the hottest day of the year. Maybe it's this global warming.
